Welcome
My name is Manny and I'm a film and television writer. A native Angeleno, I was born and raised in Boyle Heights, East Los Angeles. I've worked for years in the industry as a writers' room assistant, a localization editor, as well as in development while I honed my craft as a writer. Most recently, my pilot was a finalist in the ATX Television Festival “The Pitch” competition. I've participated in the 48 hour film competition 8 years in a row, winning Best Film twice, and winning Best Writing for the short film “Boy Soldier," while “Silence” made it all the way to the Cannes Film Festival, screening at the Short Films Corner.
